Tension set gemstone and meteorite planet pendants This series of three simple sliding pendants are made of solid Gibeon meteorite and each is tension set with a different gemstone to represent one of the 9 planets. The stones featured in this series are a .12 carat red Sapphire for Mars, a .15 carat irradiated blue Diamond for the Earth and a .20 carat irradiated yellow diamond for Venus. The meteorite has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites. They are shown on a gold chain which is not included.
