This is another variation of my agate slices design - this time in blue and purple. This design reminds me of the pattern in sliced agate stones, but the Everywoman pin isn't made of agate. I created this pin from a material called PolyShrink™. I did the artwork on the pin by hand and finished it with a durable acrylic topcoat. Then I wrapped it in a spiral of sterling silver wire. This lovely Everywoman pin measures 2 1/8 inches high and is carded with the following poetic text:
As we progress through life, we become entangled in a spiral of the things that make up our lives: Work, love, sex, family, friends, play, learning, adventure, loss, responsibility --- We struggle with this spiral and either remain trapped within it or allow it to become part of the beautiful design which is Everywoman.
