Our blown glass Ice Kugels are made from recycled glass. As the glass is molten hot it is formed and rolled into colored glass granules to provide the design. With this process each of our Kugels are uniquely handcrafted and no two are alike.

Ice Kugels are a very unique design in glass kugel art. These kugels are made to look and feel as a colored, crushed ice ball. The kugel starts out as clear glass, then we gently "fuse in" chips and chunks of colored glass. This gives the outside of the ball a granular texture. Then we treat the ball with a luster component, which adds an iridescent shine and depth to the surface. The end result is dramatic!
