Burgundy Empire David's Bridal Evening Dress The look of the empire dress of the 1960's is back again.For anyone who is a lot younger than that - the empire dress was made popular during the reign of Napoleon and his wife Josephine. Instead of a bodice and a skirt there is no waistline. The top joins the skirt just under the bust. It is very flattering to the figure.This dress is from 2005 and has been worn only once and has been dry cleaned. It is a size 16 with narrow straps and a single pleat from under the bust to the floor. It is style 8534AD and is made of 100% polyester. It was made in the US from imported fabric. Custom Made Aqua Satin & Sequined Dress with Jacket This evening dress was custom made and has never been worn. It still has it's unhemmed serged skirt edge. The dress is strapless with a heart shaped, sequined bodice which comes to a point below the waist area. The top of the bodice to the waist area is 11-1/2" in height. From the waist of the skirt to the bottom edge of the skirt is 40". The Waist is 24". The dress has a matching long sleeved satin jacket which is lined and has built in shoulder pads between the lining and the jacket.

Bill Kevkoff Satin Acetate Black and White Gown This black satin acetate cocktail dress is a Bill Kevkoff original in size 9/10. The bodice tapers to a point in the front and in the back. Slight gathers start at the hip and go around to the back.There is a wide white satin acetate collar, 8" high in the back and gathered with a clear rhinestone embellishment to 1-1/2" in the front. This collaror short attached cape has a widely scalloped edge and a small amount of elastic on the shoulder area so that it can be worn as a scoop neck or off the shoulder. It is tea length but could be longer depending on the height of the person wearing it. It measures 45-1/2" from the Bottom of the Armhole (bodice is sleeveless) to the bottom of the skirt.

NEW Evening Dress from Positive Attitude This lovely, long Dress is a deep red and is a size 10. It has a scoop neckline and is sleeveless. It has a side zipper. There is a 1" area around the front of the scoop neck which is decorated with matching red bugle beads and red sequins. They are suttle but give the dress a very sophisticated look. At the waist there is a 4" high satin look of a softly folded sash. Please see photos. The dress comes to the ankle or tips of the shoes.
Both the dress and the bodice lining are 100% polyester and require Dry Cleaning. The drss still has it's tags attached and this dress has never been worn. A local department store (marked on the price ticket and seen in the photo) was closing a stored location. Black & Silver - 2 Layer "Next Up" Dress This dress has an empire waist which means that the skirt meets the bodice just under the bust. There is a short black underdress with a sheer long black top layer which has a grayish silver imprint of flowers and leaves. The top layer has a slit from the front bottom center up to under the bust so that the short black dress is visible. The dress is a polyester and has adjustable spaghatti straps. It is a size large and has been worn only once for 2 hours. It has been dry cleaned.

Black Silk w/ Black Crochet ,Maggy London ,Halter Dress This Maggy London dress is spectacular, in a size 12 and so in fashion right now. It is new, still has it's tags attached and came from a department store which was closing one of it's locations. The dress has a 2 layer black skirt with the sheer layer about 2" longer than the lining layer.The bodice is a black machine crochet with a light beige lining which shows through the crochet openings. At the waist is a 4-3/4" wide, softly gathered sash which ties in the back. The halter bodice closes with 2 covered buttons at the back of the neck. It also comes with an extra covered button. There is 1/4" white ribbon with clear strip running down the middle to keep the back top of the halter dress in place.
The tag lists these materials and not being an expert in materials I'm not sure which is which: 95% polyester - 5% spandex; Combo I - 100% silk; Combo II - 90% acrylic-10% mylar; 100% polyester Lining I, 100% acetate Lining II. Dry Clean Only.
