Every page has beautiful colored photographs of seashells. "This edition first published by Dragon's World Ltd in the United States 1993" It is a hard cover with a beautiful full color dust jacket which was printed in Italy.

There is a dedication on the blank page which says, "To My Favorite Aunt - Christmas 1995. This was bought prior to Hurricane "Opal" which took our dear Beach House- What a Loss - So full of memories. I hope you can still enjoy it! Love Mary Ann

Other than the handwritten dedication there are no marks, tears or folded pages. This is a beautiful book.

When doing research the same book with a different photo on the dust jacket indicated that there was another "1st Longmeadow Press edition, Smithmark Publishing, 1991, ISBN 0831763841.
