The closure is two wooden buttons and an elastic loop that slips from the lower button over the top button.

---I usually don’t do specific weaving patterns with my handbags, but I found this combination of a bright rainbow print that changed shades gradually across the width of the fabric alternating with deep black irresistible. To attain the tight, neat stripes, I use two shuttles at once, alternating across the loom and twisting at the ends to make a clean edge. The bright orange button at the top conceals a heavy duty snap closure. The handmade, black rope shoulder strap is attached using gold-toned metal rings. There is no bottom seam for added strength and the inside is one unlined compartment.
Machine wash, warm. Dry flat. Tuck strap inside before washing.
