SOLD! Handwoven Cotton Yarn Rug, DOUBLE NEGATIVE Pattern - Black and Grey w/ Cream
---This is a pattern I call "Double Negative". It is one that I’ve adapted from an early American weaving pattern. This Double Negative rug is woven using Maysville cotton rug filler in black and grey with narrow cream stripes. The yarn is raised where the different colors meet which adds another texture to this interesting rug. Maysville is no longer manufacturing their rug filler, so when I’ve used up my stash, that will be the end of these durable cotton yarn rugs. A modern looking rug made using old fashioned techniques.

SOLD! Hand woven Flannel Hallway Runner - Rust, Brown, Blue, Green
---I used a cotton flannel print of cowboys against a background of rust, blue and green that reminded me of the prints you used to see in little boys’ rooms in the 1950s. The resulting rug has a Southwest feel to it, probably because of the colors. A nice blend of shades that will go just about anywhere. The fringe is natural.

---I used a pretty, muted print fabric to weave this peaceful looking rag rug. The fabric print reminded me of a watercolor painting of a stormy sky. The muted burgundy in the fabric print inspired me to add burgundy stripes at the edge of the runner. The fringe is natural with burgundy at the edges.
