Rag Rug Placemats, Handwoven, Set of Four - White, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green ---These sturdy rag rug placemats are handwoven using a flannel print of blue, red, yellow and green windowpane plaid on a white background. I wove the fabric onto warp threads in a mix of bright colors I call "Confetti". The warp threads form narrow stripes that run the length of the placemats and end in fringe of the same colorful mix. Placemats, Handwoven Set of Three - Tan, Black, White ---I used an unusual print fabric to weave this set. The fabric was a mix of jungle themes--some flowers, some leaves and vines, some animal patterns. The different patterns flowed one to another along the fabric seemingly without logic. When woven, the different jungle inspired patterns give an interesting hit and miss look to the simple tan, black and white colors. The fringe is a combination of three natural shades. Think of this as a set of three placemats or think of it as two placemats and a centerpiece—either way they will dress up your table. Sorry, I failed to save a scrap to show you the fabric I used.
