---Two cotton flannel fabrics are woven into this clean looking rug. One is a solid, creamy beige flannel; the second is a bright sports themed flannel print of sports balls and equipment. The two fabrics alternate, forming horizontal stripes. The background of rust, green, yellow and brown stripes run the length of the rug and end in fringe of the same colors. A nice, neutral rug with a bit of pizazz.

Handwoven Rag Hallway Runner - Greys, Burgundy, White
---I used a pretty, muted print fabric to weave this peaceful looking hallway runner. The fabric print reminded me of a watercolor painting of a stormy sky. The muted burgundy in the fabric print inspired me to add burgundy stripes at the edge of the runner. The fringe is natural with burgundy at the edges. Handwoven Rag Hallway Runner - Navy, Terra Cotta, Green
---I used a print of cacti flowering in terracotta pots on a navy background to weave this hallway runner. Accented with lighter blue stripes running the length of the rug and fringed in natural and blue, it is one of those rugs that will catch your eye without overpowering your room. The terra cotta brightens up the dark background and gives the rug a Southwestern feel to it.

Hallway Runner, Handwoven Rag Rug - Brown and Green Multi
---I had no idea what I was going to end up with when I started weaving this long runner. I had purchased quite a few yards of heavy cotton fabric that was printed in large blocks designed to be cut apart and sewn into pillows or cushions. Each block was a complete picture of a cottage in the woods or some wildlife like a deer or squirrel surrounded by vegetation. Each block used the same shade of green leaves and trees and each was bordered by deep, chocolate brown, but each block was also separated by a narrow white band that indicated where the cut should be made for sewing and stuffing a cushion. Cutting each block apart would have left me with pieces that were too small to weave, so I left the white spaces in and was happy to see that they just ended up becoming part of the jumble of colors. I loved the deep, rich earth colors and decided to weave it on a dark brown background with pale yellow and green stripes on the edges. I’m really happy with the way this one came out.

Handwoven Hallway Rag Runner - Bright Multi w/ Black
---A modern rag rug with an old-fashioned look! I used two fabrics in the weaving of this rug. One is a busy print of brightly colored buttons on a black background. I used a second, solid black fabric to weave horizontal stripes that diminish in width as they move toward the center of the rug. Brightly colored stripes alternating with black run the length of the rug and end in my "Black Rainbow" fringe. Sure to brighten up an entryway or hallway.

---The fabric I woven into this hallway runner is a print of leaves and small pink roses on a black backround. The warp threads in shades of green and rose pick up the colors of the print and help to lighten the dark background.
