---Deep, handwoven tote bag is woven from bright navy and rust fabric and accented with green stripes running the length of the fabric. The top edge is finished with a hem that ends in exposed fringe and is accented with a deep red button. The soft, cotton rope strap is handmade. Handwoven Rag Tote Bag - Navy, Rust, Light Blue Multi Stripes
---I used two contrasting print fabrics to weave this tote bag. The first is a print of red roses and green leaves on a light blue background; the second is a print of white stars and red hearts on a navy background with a border of rust and Spring green. The bag is also accented with green stripes that run from top to bottom which gives the bag a bit of a plaid look. The top edge is hemmed and has exposed fringe of natural, white and green. The soft cotton rope strap is long enough to use as a shoulder strap and is also handmade. The tote closes securely with a heavy duty metal snap that is hidden behind a wooden button. There is no bottom seam so this is a strong tote perfect for carrying books or your favorite craft project.
