ROSEMALING Norway Wooden Bowl This is a vintage wooden bowl that is done in a black glossy top with beautiful rosemaling or rosmaling folk art type flowers that are on the inside. This great piece is old, most likely from Norway and displays the classic Rummel Red of Rogaland on the back of the bowl. There are some flaws from age, but it is absolutely a wonderful piece. There are a few chips in one side of the edge, but it is from age. The back has a black mark that looks like Priss or Ross and the back is painted. You can see where this bowl has been handcarved in the typical Norweigan style. It is over 10.5 inches in diameter.
