ROSEMALING Norway Wooden Bowl This is a vintage wooden bowl
~It is done in a black glossy top with eautiful rosemaling or rosmaling folk art type flowers that are on the inside.
~This great piece is old, most likely
from Norway and displays the classic Rummel Red of Rogaland on the back
of the bowl.
~ There are some flaws from age, but
it is absolutely a wonderful piece.
~ There are a few chips in one side of
the edge, but it is from age.
~ The back has a black mark that looks
like Priss or Ross and the back is painted.
~ You can see where this bowl has been
handcarved in the typical Norweigan style.
~ It is over 10.5 inches in diameter.
