Set of Four Small Ceramic Slip Cast Tumblers

The tumblers are each Slip Cast from a one-piece mold in a white clay-body. When they were leather-hard, a design (representing stonework castle towers) was scratched into their surfaces. To further simulate stonework, they were brushed with a brown 'art' glaze; which, when fired, produced tones from a translucent light cocoa to a deep chocolate brown.
